Featuredduring March, and August holidays is our unique Toronto
School of Rock. Acclaimed by the CBC, Global TV
and the SLICE network as a true inspirational and
comprehensive program theCamp Rocks Cool is designed
for young performers seeking the ultimate ‘live band
experience’.
Combined with a fun week of
games, contests and light sports the 5 day camp sessions
mandates to build, self confidence, team spirit and band
musicianship. The camp encompasses music from the five great
decades of Rock, Pop, Rock Fusion, Indie, Jazz , Celtic and
even ‘Classical goes R & R’. Each session ends on a Friday at
4 pm with a Rock Concert on the Sherway Academy’s Stage.

is best suited for young performers aged 9 –16 with at least
one year of study and/or an audition. Although the Camp Rocks
Cool specializes in Voice, Guitar, Bass, Drums and Keyboards
our genre diversity encourages students of all instruments,
including string, brass, woodwind, and world instruments to
join in the program.

The Sherway Academy of Music is committed to offering a progressive,
comprehensive and affordable music,( ask about our family plan discounts) curriculum to students of all ages.
Private and accredited instruction is available in
PIANO, GUITAR, Voice, Electric Guitar, Bass, Suzuki Violin, Brass and Woodwinds.
The Academy is under the direction of William W. Zufelt composer,
musician, teacher, "Canada's Celtic Organist' and certified Gold Canadian Recording Industry Association
recipient. As former chair of the Mississauga Music Education Foundation, RCM
and co-founder of the Mississauga Music Festival, William Zufelt brings validated
dedication, knowledge and stewardship to the Academy.
The Academy's faculty complements the school's mandate with a host
of acclaimed and accredited International, Canadian instructors and coaches from
the recording industry, the Royal Conservatory of Music, McMaster University,
and Humber College.
